NewVue Executive Director Marc Dohan; Chamber Board Chair Tony Fields; NewVue Board President Christina DiRusso.
We are honored to share that NewVue Communities has received the Community Enhancement Award from the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce.
The Chamber presented NewVue with the award at its Good Morning Breakfast for the transformational Fitchburg Arts Community project, recognizing how this initiative has already made such a meaningful impact on our region.
“This $46 million initiative has breathed new life into three historic municipal buildings, creating 68 units of artist-preferred affordable housing,’’ said Roy Nascimento, President and CEO of the North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce. “By converting the former B.F. Brown Middle School, City Stables, and Academy Street School Annex into a thriving residential community, NewVue has demonstrated how visionary community development can preserve our history while building our future.”
This recognition is awarded to organizations and initiatives that have contributed significantly to the development and strengthening of our region through major construction projects, infrastructure improvements, economic development efforts, or impactful community programs.
Thank you to the Chamber for this prestigious honor!
